Sustainable tourism

As Calimera Side Resort, we believe that the nature entrusted to us should be transferred to future generations with more livable and sufficient resources. In order to contribute to ecological balance, we constantly monitor the negativities and threats that our activities create on nature, try to minimize these effects and consume natural resources responsibly. We provide training to our staff on these issues and expect our stakeholders to have the same sensitivity.

With its dedicated team and environmentally friendly approach, Calimera Side Resort is aware of and committed to protecting nature as part of a continuous sustainability program aimed at reducing the negative effects of tourism on the environment and society.

We are committed to reducing our greenhouse gas emissions and protecting and supporting biodiversity. With this determination, we aim to reduce our per capita electricity consumption by 2% and chemical consumption by 3% every year. In the period between 2022 and 2024, with the meticulous work we carried out, we managed to reduce our chemical and water consumption above the target we set. We are proud to share with you below our Sustainability Report, which includes our goals and performance in detail.

Within this program, in addition to protecting natural resources, we also contribute to the local economy by supporting local producers and service providers as much as possible. Calimera Side Resort cooperates well with the local community and supports non-profit organizations. We are committed to respecting and protecting human rights. We believe that everyone should be treated fairly and with respect. As part of this commitment, we regularly train our staff on anti-discrimination.

We are also committed to protecting the welfare of children and young people. We have a policy of always reporting suspected cases of child exploitation and abuse to law enforcement. We encourage our guests, staff and visitors to report any concerns about child exploitation and abuse by calling 0242 753 6565 or directly to the gendarmerie station located on Atatürk Boulevard 605th Street.

Dear guest, teammate and partner, would you like to contribute to us? Please check out the Sustainable Tourism folder at reception or check out the Sustainability Corner next to Good Mood Bistro.
